Matt Pidgeon
Glendale Brook Gallery is pleased to present Matt Pidgeon.
Born in Manchester NH 1979, Matt is an abstract expressionist living in Bedford NH with his wife Jamie of 8 years-and 3 children, Kiersten, Cole and Chase.
Matt has been a painter for 18 years and paints with many mediums including acrylic, oil, and enamel on canvas. Some pieces he creates are multi- surface works. By cutting out sections of finished painting and applying glass to the back he creates dimensions of shadow and space that are fascinating to view.
Pidgeon is heavily influenced by the works of Wassily Kandinsky, Jackson Pollock, Picasso and Braque.
Pidgeon paints with great passion for music and incorporates mood evoking color and movement in his pieces. His process is meticulous and involves hours of working, viewing and reflection.
Pidgeon has had numerous shows across the New England area and New York. His work has been has been sold to both public and private collectors residentially and commercially.
